Startup Weekend Sweden, Kalmar. 4-6 April 2008

I will be joining Martin Frönmark in creating a business over just one weekend, that is just 54 hours. Sound intense? It is.

The  Startup Weekend will kickoff with a beer on friday, followed by presentation pitches on Saturday morning. All founders decide what business is going to be created during the weekend. Work is done as a team, and everybody earns an equal share of stock in the developed business.

The group will have backgrounds in web development & design, marketing and business development. Everyone who participates can choose to become a shareholder in the company being founded.

Sponsorships reduced the participating price to only 100 SEK. This price will include becoming a shareholder of the company, food and a t-shirt (with number on the back, which will (hopefully) be easier to remember than names).

Want to join me? If you have an idea for a web based business, either submit it on the website at startupweekend.se or bring it to the event.
